Club Gliding trip - 29th May 2009. This year, the club had a trip to the Cambridge Gliding Club at Gransden (www.glide.co.uk) . The weather was fantastic and a good evening was had by all. In two and a half hours, we managed to get a total of 27 flights. Although we had four instructors, the club thought this was something of a record. 16 members had one flight and 11 had a second. The longest flight was 11 minutes and the highest was 1450 feet, obtained by yours truly!

The site is in very good condition following on from all the rain we have had. This is because of the seven degree slope and ditch to the north of the patch.
